This incredible, injectable ‘moisturiser’ has one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market at 64mg per treatment. The hydrating effect of the pure hyaluronic acid under the skin gives a dewiness and glow from within. Skin appears firmer as collagen and elastin is improved. Results can be outstanding.
Face and neck are the most common areas to rejuvenate, but can be used anywhere with skin laxity, such as the hands and decollete. It is suitable for all skin types and ages. The treatment is very safe.
Profhilo hyaluronic acid is heat bonded and does not contain a bonding chemical often found in filler products. This makes it compatible with other heat based skin rejuvenation devices that you may be using.
A numbing cream can be applied onto clean skin. Profhilo is injected using very fine needles into specific points to maximize the benefits. You may feel a little sting. The treatment takes around 15 – 20 mins. At each injection site you will feel a little bump. A little like a bee sting. This subsides after anything from a few hours to a couple of days.
The bumps will gradually subside as the crystal clear hyaluronic gels disperses evenly under the skin. Avoid touching the skin or wearing make up for 24 hours. There is always a possibility of some small bruises at the injection sites, but not always.
Most people will start to see an improvement in skin quality in a few days. For some it may take a few weeks. Improvements will continue to be seen over the weeks and months ahead.
An initial course of 2-3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart is required for best results. Maintenance treatment is required. You may like to have a top up every 3 months. After 6 months another course of 2-3 treatments will likely be required to maintain the results.
